'She's Done Nothing Wrong': LBC Presenter Roasts Richard Holden Over Angela Rayner Row

<div><img src="https://img.huffingtonpost.com/asset/68ac4d0b170000e78963f011.jpeg?ops=scalefit_630_noupscale" alt="Ben Kentish quizzed Richard Holden on LBC." data-caption="Ben Kentish quizzed Richard Holden on LBC." data-credit-link-back="" data-credit="LBC" />Ben Kentish quizzed Richard Holden on LBC.</div><div class="content-list-component text"><p>A senior Tory was roasted on live radio after suggesting <a href="https://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/news/angela-rayner/">Angela Rayner </a>was guilty of “hypocrisy” for buying a second home.</p><p>The deputy prime minister <a href="https://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/entry/angela-rayner-has-managed-to-trigger-the-tories-by-buying-a-house_uk_68aae079e4b0943e34b7438f">has faced criticism</a> from the <a href="https://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/news/conservative-party/">Conservatives</a> after it emerged she paid more than £700,000 for the property near Brighton.</p><p>She also owns a house in Ashton-under-Lyne in her constituency, and has use of the grace-and-favour Admiralty House in Whitehall thanks to her senior role in the cabinet.</p><p>On LBC this morning, shadow transport secretary <a href="https://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/news/richard-holden/">Richard Holden</a> struggled to explain precisely what the Tories believe Rayner has done wrong.</p><p>Presenter Ben Kentish said: “A lot of your colleagues are very critical of Angela Rayner after it emerged that she, working class, had done well for herself and has bought a nice seafront home down in Brighton.
